Local-First Architecture

Krosstabs is built with a "Local-First" architecture. This means that all data processing happens directly in your web browser. When you upload a CSV file to clean, weight, or analyze, that file never leaves your device.

Data Storage

We use standard web technologies (IndexedDB and LocalStorage) to save your datasets and preferences on your device so you can pick up where you left off.

• Datasets: Stored in your browser's IndexedDB.
• Settings: Stored in LocalStorage.

If you clear your browser cache or use "Incognito/Private" mode, this data will be lost. You can manually clear all data at any time from the Dashboard Settings.

No Cloud Uploads

Unlike traditional SaaS tools, we do not upload your sensitive survey data to our servers. We have no access to your respondents' PII (Personally Identifiable Information) or your proprietary data.
